Do you have a basement full of old electronics? A garage full of broken lawnmowers and snow blowers? A closet full of unwanted clothes? Are you ready to do some spring cleaning? If so, you’re in luck. Stop by the Electronics and Recyclables Drop Off on Saturday, April 9 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at The First Baptist Church of Elmhurst, 343 S. York Rd., Elmhurst.

All items are recycled for free, except for glass tube televisions, which incur a fee.

See attached image for a complete list or email HeavenlyAngelsRecycling@yahoo.com.

Some items to collect include: flat screen televisions, computers, printers, computer accessories, DVD players, VCRs, cordless and cell phones, household and auto batteries, crayons, old bikes, lawnmowers, snow blowers, all appliances, pots and pans, air conditioners, stainless steel, exercise equipment, old tools, clothes and shoes for First Baptist’s Closet and nonperishable food for Elmhurst Walk In Ministry and Yorkfield Food Pantry.

Events like this are one of the many reasons that Elmhurst is such a great place to live. If you’re hoping to move into our community, we’re here to help. Contact us at (630) 441-5570 or visit www.gmregroup.com.
